Construction on the new house has begun! YEA! we were/are still nervous on an early freeze up starting so late but what can you do if mother nature desides to have winter sooner! Things are going good at the little house, girls have adjusted very well. They have lots of fun running through it so quickly and playing and screaming (I need some earplugs somedays) but at least they aren't crying about missing the old house. We went out to see the construction process last night and today because Kenley wanted to see the "big hole" as it is refered to instead of the basement. There was still some equipment out there from digging and she thought it was sooo exciting to see! We went out today to hopefully see more but the cement truck wasn't there yet to pour the footings. Oh well! She got to see the "big hole" again. Jessa likes to run around there and scares me half to death she got a little close to the "big hole" and of course you know they are my kids (they both have my gracefulness) and can't walk without tripping on the dirt. Needless to say they wear old clothes out there. If anyone is trying to send us mail please upate our address to PO Box 1658 Bemidji, MN 56619 please! We have our mail forwarded but that way we don't have to wait so long for it! Any ways better run! have lots to try and put away and hide in this little house! a few more months and we will be in our BIG house! yea!

Well We are packing! The house sold and we are waiting on a few things just to make the new owners loan go through! We figured we would have more time but nope! House sold in less than 2 weeks! Amazing for around here I am glad but at the same time we are in limbo on what we should do. There isn't a lot of homes in the area we want to be for sale and so... we think we are going to build. We have been telling Kenley that we are moving to the little house, seriously.. we are moving to Tog's Grandparents home in Blackduck. We are very greatful that we are able to move there and not have to worry about signing a on year lease but to go from a 3 bedroom to a 1 1/2 bedroom is taking a lot of time to pack stuff away that we don't "need" but according to the girls.. we "need" all their toys. Tog and I have secretly packed away 3 boxes already but it is to finish up the rest. ugh.... but we will have something so wonderful when it is all done we are greatful to move to the "little house" as we call it till then.
Kenley and Jessa are fighting like crazy they get along so well and then a switch turns on and poof! screams and cries and squeals and then laughter then more screams makes packing in a different room hard. But they love to help us unpack :) they were also packing themselves into totes and boxes as you will see in the pictures. I had to take them they were just too funny not too! I wouldn't normally let my kids play like that but I figured I was able to pack up my glass bowls, dishes etc without anyone fighting so I really didn't care at that point! Jessa still isn't talking much just pointing and saying what we think is "ish" but momma, dadda, all done, woof woof are about it out of her mouth. She is quite funny, she is such a little stinker she does something she isn't supposed to and then looks at you and just makes you laugh with her expression.
Kenley on the other hand is still growing like a weed and is fully potty trained! Night & day! yea! no more diapers! She has been this way for about 4 months, but some times the accidents happen. She is starting to come out of her shell more too lately and going up to people and saying hi more it is quite fun, you can actually have a converation with her now and she still loves to read books! We also play with barbies a lot, she gets so mad because "the daddy's" (Ken) head falls off once in a while so that is qutie funny to hear "mommy.. daddy's head fell off ... can you fix it....?" She also is starting to figure more things out with deciding what "she" should wear boy.. some days you never know with her! but I best get packing away again. more boxes to fill and lots of house to pack away yet!

OK.. so much is new! Jessa is walking all over and climbing up on things we have named her our little monkey. She is also still my mini tornado, there is a path on where she has been if you are looking for her... follow the path of distruction. Jessa's 1st birthday was so much fun, we had cupcakes and yummy burgers and hotdogs and best of all we got to celebrate with our family! One thing about Jessa now is she is starting to stick up for herself when kids take things from her or even just bug her. I call her my "informer" because she will let out this scream and throw a tantrum. I just laugh at her and walk away (I know I'm mean) but if I don't pay any attention to her and talk to her she won't keep on with the tantrum. We almost have all 4 molar teeth in (thank goodness) she is awful with teeth! also no more nuk for us!!! we just lost it one day and that was that! it was tough for her but she did it!

Kenley is now the big "3" and we have the attitude and mouth to go with it. She lets you know that "she doesn't want to do this and that" But she is still good. Growing like a weed still and loves to be girly. She loves anything with princess or dress's or barbies but then she is such a tomboy! She was playing with the kids at daycare (all boys) and they were batman, robin, spiderman, you catch my drift... and she runs over to me and says "mommy you the bad guy and were gonna get you" i'm thinking great! but nothing big happened PHEW!

Things are good for everything else, we are listing our home for sale by owner to see if we can get it sold and move on to something else! wish us luck!

Wow time flies! I can't believe it is already March! The girls are changing every day. Jessa is now crusing along the furniture and starting to walk with her toys! It is exciting, but scary too! I can't believe in a month and a half she will be one! She is also babbling a lot more nothing big but just babbling. She definatly found her voice. She has 2 more teeth also and working on 2 more be careful now... she bites!
Kenley is talking a lot more, and the tremendous 3's are already starting... more temper tantrums every day. gotta love it. She is potty trained now, but still wears a night diaper because nothing can wake her at night! She doesn't like her sister bugging her while she is playing barbies or reading books so she goes up into the fort to play and Jessa tries to climb the slide...she can if she doesn't have socks! anyhoo.. that is the news!

Well where to begin, we have new teeth, a crawling person, and person destroying everything because she can stand up now, a big girl that uses the potty chair and a smartie pants.

Jessa is changing every day and the one with the most going on. She is our little destroyer, literaly.... anything and everything she can get to it is pulled off, crumpled, taken, thrown etc, you catch my drift... so we have had to put everything up a bit higher, and now she can irritate her sister when she is reading a book, lets just say Kenley doesn't like it. She has finally broke 2 more teeth through, and we are still working on more she is such a crab! and waking up screaming bloody murder at night :( makes for long nights because she just clings on to me. AND she is actually crawling using her hands and knees, instead of the army crawl or the inch worm!

Kenley is such a big girl, she is using the potty chair and loving it! There aren't very many accidents, but now it is to work on the overnight potty training, one step at a time! She is also very bossy and starting to talk back. I told her to eat her supper the other night and she looks at me and goes "no, you eat your supper!" She is the little mother hen at daycare too. She plays with a lot of boys at daycare mainly because she is the only girl her age, the next girl is only 1 1/2, so we hear all about her being "super nenley" and them playing with cars and spider man, batman haha.. we just giggle. She definatly has her girly side, but she is a tomboy at the same time.
Anyhoo there is a quick rundown of the crazyness at our house!

Christmas has come and gone, and boy was it fun! The girls had a blast. Jessa enjoyed opening presents (3 weeks ago) and Kenley loved them even more! Jessa opened a present under the tree and we ended up having to barracade it so that she couldn't get under, well she figured out ways to get under still after all that work! Oh well, it was fun to see her determination to get to the tree

Many of you may be wondering "why is she posting during the middle of the day? shouldn't she be working?" Well, lets just say I'd rather be working! Kenley got her first bout with the FLU! (just an fyi - we just got the flu shot nice huh?) she came into our room 2 nights ago and Tog put her in our bed didn't realize and she says "I icky" sure enough all over her jammies and bed. so we get her changed and get the bedding changed, but we didn't want her to sleep in there by herself, so we let her stay with us. She was such a trooper - unlike me when I was a kid and sick i told my parents "I'm just a kid!" yea.. I still haven't lived it down. So she did really well got to the bucket every time! Then she finally falls asleep and what do you know... jessa decides that she is gonna throw her nuk across the room from in her crib so she is mad and rustling around. Ended up 2 kids and 2 adults trying to make it through the night then you fall asleep and the stupid alarm goes off, long day that is all I have to say...... We kept her home again today because she hadn't eaten anything solid yet and well - daycare has it too! Such is life!

Exciting news with Jessa, she had her 6mo checkup last week and I'm proud to report she is 17lbs 4oz and just about 28 inches long! everything looked good according to the dr - except for the shots :( Jessa always hates those! She also had a pretty big milestone! She got her first tooth on Sunday 11/16/08! She was just a chewing all weekend long and was kinda crabby also, (still is) but it is through! I think the one right next to it will be out here shortly also! So that is the excitement at the Anderson household!

Where did the month of September go! Crazy thing is we didn't do a lot of stuff, but it is gone! Went to the cities, had our birthdays, Tog was on call, and POOF gone. I guess that is life!

Kenley is talking more each day and saying new sentences. New one is "mommy, I no like it" and "I try it! I try it!" She is so goofy she just cracks us up. We will ask her if she is goofy and she will go "NO, I not goopy, I nenley" her words... and Hey peanut to Jessa and she will come back and say "No, that Jessa not nut." So, that has become our new thing to say to Jessa (hey Nut!) we are so mean! At daycare they are doing "lessons" so she comes home with paper's of letters, coloring, and new art projects that she won't let go of, after she goes to bed (depending on how demolished they are) they have to go in the garbage or put up for later. She loves to learn! It is amazing how much they soak up in one day!

Jessa is well our inch worm. I put her down to put Kenley in the tub last week and I come out to get her to put her in her excersaucer and well, she was in the hallway! She will lift her head back and push with her legs and go... and quite fast. We've caught her under her crib, in the corner, up by our TV, the book shelf, IT IS CRAZY! and now tonight she rolled on her belly and she pushed herself backwards! Her legs are just a going like she wants to crawl and get to her big sister (which she just loves) She always has a smile and a giggle for her. The giggling is definatly here, she gives us a big tooth-less grin and giggles! I love it because it is a deep giggle. Her eyes are still hazel just like her daddy's, but her hair is lightening up on the sides where she doesn't have the mohawk... that is still darker and a lot thicker (until she inch-worms it away)

Not much else is new besides that. I'll try to be better this month with updating and taking more pictures!

We just got back from a wonderful weekend! We went to the cities friday night and decided to have fun! On Saturday we packed the girls up and got Uncle Dustin to come with and we all went to the state fair to EAT... and of course see everything. Kenley Loved the animals, did I say she LOVED them? A horse kicked and neighed when she went up to the pen and boy did she giggle! Then we went to the pig/sheep barn, and she loved those.. they even let her touch a sheep! Then we decided to have some ice cream because it was pretty warm. Well, Kenley is learning to talk now.. and I'm walking up with it eating some and she is yelling "BITE! ME! BITE!" We are starting to call her repeat, because she is trying to repeat everything you say. Sunday it was fun because Paul, Carrie, Conner & Hannah came over to Jeanine & Alissa's house and we played on the trampoline that Jeanine picked up that day (Thanks for the fun!) Kenley & Conner really had fun together since they were about the same size for the tramp.. they couldn't really bounce each other too hard so they didn't fall down unless they ran into each other! Of Couse Kenley followed Alissa around all weekend. and copied her.. monkey see monkey do!

Potty training took a back seat last week when she got kinda sick, well, she wasn't actually sick when we look back to what was going on it all made sence... another tooth. She got her first 2nd year molar tooth on August 27th. Pretty exciting, except for the back seat to potty training. She is starting to want to sit on the big girl potty and when she is done she can get down all by herself and say "all done mommy or daddy" and wants TP.. to flush.. even though she did NOTHING! Her other big thing is to say "mommy/daddy, I toot" what they don't come up with.

Jessa on the other hand isn't doing much yet, she is realling chewing on things and grabbing on with all her might! I'm wondering if she is working on teeth too because she is such a drool bucket and instantly if she gets a hold of anything it goes straight for her mouth. She is filling out very nicely and growing so fast. It is amazing how much she has changed already. Still don't know what color her eyes are going to be because they are still hazelish and blue! We go to the dr again on 9/11 to see how big she has gotten, I'm excited for that, but not for the shots.
All is good otherwise, we are keeping up with our garden (Kenley likes to be covered in dirt) and loves to help me "prune" my flowers... Jessa loves to just be outside with us and talks with us! now if Jessa would just quit thumping her feet on the bed at about 4:00 in the morning things would be just perfect!

As you can tell things have been crazy around here, hence me not posting ANYTHING! We get home from work eat, and then go outside to PLAY! We have been busy watering and picking weeds, and acutally have some veggies growing in our garden! My flowers look ok, except for where the stupid dog laid in them (dumb dog) but such is life I guess.

The girls had their 2 year and 2 month check ups and they are both doing well in height and weight. Kenley's weight went down but as the dr saw, she didn't sit still in the office and was running circles :) that's my girl. Jessa just hung out trying to take a nap and we kept moving her and picking her up. She definatly did not like the shots, but once I could pick her up, she was much better. The fat lip went away quick. I can't believe how fast they change!

Jessa is really learning how to use her hands she is grabbing everything and pulling or putting into her mouth and drooling and cooing and just started giggling! She is also sleeping through the night fully now!(finally) and is always happy when she wakes up, but just wants someone to talk to right away and wants her milk. She is also fighting you when you lay her down at an angle, she try's to sit upright. She will also stand if you hold her and her had is sooo strong, she also loves her baths! but watch out if you don't have socks on, and set her down.... she won't be there when you get back! Kenley is talking more. More and more words come out each day! She definatly has her "own" opinion and tells you if she likes or dislikes something. You can't always figure it out, but she will get it across somehow. She loves to help outside in the garden (pulling what she thinks are weeds) so, we have had that run in a lot. We went to another fair on the 4th of July weekend, and have been hearing about the "busss, horseys and fishies" still. We took her for her 1st boat ride yesterday and my little thrill seeker loved it. you could hear her going "yea!" "yee haw" "woooo" she cracks me up! oh well! that is all that is new for now! I have to go clean up Lollies (dollies) and noneys (pony's)
